Adds my 2pennuth.
I personally am happy the first few daily features are at 4 pm eastern as it puts them at 9pm UK which for people like me is z decent time (I can watch before heading to work LOL).
Makes a change that the site is thinking more about other parts if the world and not just the customers in the US. All past feature shows have been around 1 or 2 am here in the uk. But as others have said a variance of times would be even better. Quote

ok, I'll keep talking ...
I find it hard to believe that so far 9 female and 9 male models have all chosen to perform at 4pm EST.
What is regarded as an "acceptable time window"?
What is a "nooner" show?
The 4pm EST were the initial hours we had slotted for the Feature shows but after seeing the outpouring support for variable hours, we should have variable hours based on model availability amongst other factors. "Acceptable time window" does not mean "Midnight California time". "Nooner shows" are shows held at noon hours..these may be suitable for the weekends.

I spoke to one of the top 20 male models who had signed up to do it, but backed out when he found out it had to be at 4:00 PM. If I were a performer I think I would pass too.

Love the idea but I believe a variable time schedule will work better for the models as well. My first thought when hearing the 4pm eastern time was that while the timing is bad for me, as a VIP I can watch the recording later, which deprives the models of tipping opportunities. I would suggest that in addition to variable timing also delay posting the recordings to encourage as many people as possible to watch the shows live.

Well it would depend on where you are. 4pm EST probably suits most European models and members because it's during their evening
I would suggest that in addition to variable timing also delay posting the recordings to encourage as many people as possible to watch the shows live.
I think most members would prefer to watch the shows live if they could. Delay in posting the recordings would in my opinion only cause additional frustration to members who are unable the watch the shows live Quote

I agree for European members 4:00 PM EST is ideal. Models on the other hand want the most tips possible, and since most members are from the US, the ideal time slot is probably somewhere between 9:30 PM EST and 11:30 PM EST. On the other hand, if the model is never on during that time slot, from a marketing perspective, they might be better off selecting a time slot they would be. I guess if I was a model I would look at my schedule and then schedule it for the 1 hour period I would normally be most busy. Quote

Have just read this thread and it seems nobody has mentioned that of course in addition to it being for the benefit and partial appeasment of existing VIP's it is also a marketing tool to attract new VIP's.
For the model to qualify to be offered the opportunity I understand from the first post that they have to be in the top 25%. Looking down the list of the Guys who have the now announced shows I wonder how that 25% was calculated.
One of the Guys has been a model since May 16 2011 and only has 8 VODs/Shows with less than 60 minutes in total. (unless many are hidden) In his room today the video is very poor (like slow motion) and a quick look at the Free Preview of his shows would indicate they are similar in quality.
Surely this hardly ranks him in the top 25% and becasue of the poor quality of the video not a good advert for the site.
Perhaps many of the other Top 25% have given the opportunity a miss.
Otherwise I think it is a great idea and whilst I am English and did lobby many years ago for the times of Feature Shows to be varied for the benefit of Europeans (they used to be 1:00am or 2:00am Eurpoean time,) I consider a varied time for these more regualr shows would be a good idea for all world wide members. Perhaps VS may look in terms of seniority and activity of the models to determine who can or cannot do a feature show. For example, a model qualifies for a feature show after being consistently here for a couple of months of active login and chatting with members. I think this would also encourage models to stay on F4F in the long run and for us, we would be missing our favourite hot model
Also, please make the feature show time more flexible. I'm an Asian and 4pm -5pm EST is 4am-5am here in Singapore/Malaysia and other various countries in Asia. We would be sleeping when our favourite models are doing feature shows at that time. I suppose it would be a good idea to let models decide when they want to do a feature show as suggested previously so that they can cater to their fans or members interested to join in. *I got to get a cup of expresso to keep myself awake this Friday for Lance* @.@ Quote

4 PM EST is great. Since I live in the EST I can watch the shows in my office! Yipee! VS probably allows this, but where I work they frown on this sort of entertainment on the office computers. Actually, they frown on anything that isn't work. I enjoyed breakfast with the Czech girls. I hope our European friends enjoy the new feature. Don't see what's in it for the US guys, at least those of us who still have jobs.

...Zach, did you see Lance's show? It was great, as he always does he puts a lot of enregy and fun into his shows.

Nobody seems to have a clear idea of what the feature shows are supposed to be yet. I certainly don't know. One model who is one of my favorite models frankly does better shows in his open chat than he did in the feature show. He did not know if he should be getting naked, etc. without tips. Feature shows are recorded and are available for viewing by VIPs under the Feature Shows tab

That is entirely at the discretion of the model and or his/her studio; and LOL @ the assumption that there will be no tips.. so true in a room full of VIPs. Quote
